Kathleen Sims is an accomplished real estate professional with over 35 years of experience. Her agency is a woman-owned, multicultural real estate firm. The agency’s mission is to promote and expand home ownership in Oakland-SF Bay communities. She believes that a stable home environment is an essential to a secure family legacy.
Her passion for real estate was passed on from her great, great grandfather, Alvin Coffee, almost 165 years ago. As a California native and Oakland resident, she appreciates the cultural norms and traditions in the community. Kathleen’s extensive knowledge spans over three decades of real estate transactions including sales, home loans, and property management.
She holds a California Real Estate Broker License as well as multiple certifications. Kathleen previously served as the Director of the Leased Housing for the City of Oakland Housing Authority. This vast experience gives her in-depth knowledge of federal housing management including property inspections; repairs; lease management; tenant-landlord negotiations; and conflict resolution.
Kathleen currently serves as an appointed board member of the City of Oakland's Residential Rent and Relocation Board and is certified as a Probate and Trust Specialist.
