MAKE MUSIC DAY
WINTER SOLSTICE EDITION
Dec 21, 2024
Make Music - Winter Solstice Edition
Saturday, December 21 (3pm-9pm)
All are welcome to celebrate Winter Solstice by making music and sharing in libations. Visit three locations for craft beverages and entertainment, and play instruments as you parade between each stop. All skill levels are encouraged to join in the parade! Bring your instrument, or play one of ours.
‣ START: 3PM - Degrees Plato (4251 MacArthur Blvd.) for libations
‣ MAKE MUSIC as you parade to: 4PM - Ghost Town Brewing
‣ MAKE MUSIC as you parade to: 5pm - Lounge3411 (21+ only) for harmonica lessons, music, and live show
The final destination at Lounge3411 extends for 3 hours: 5pm harmonica lessons, 6pm Blues music, and 7pm performance by The Cut featuring Alvon Johnson!
This admission-free event raises awareness for International Make Music Day, which happens annually every Summer Solstice.
This event is produced by the Laurel District Association in partnership with Make Music.
