ABOUT THE SURVEY
The Laurel District Association received grant funding from The Department Of Violence Prevention, City of Oakland, enabling us to supply targeted support to the businesses in the districts listed above. In order to the identify needs of individual businesses and determine the methods of support, we are asking for your help by completing this quick assessment. Beginning this month, we are identifying support providers, creating resource libraries, organizing workshops, and providing individual outreach (in person and digitally) to assist our business community. This one-of-a-kind pilot "Ambassador Program" is funded for approximately 6 months, but may be extended (and expanded) if it results in a sufficient number of positive case studies. Your participation is critical to the success of the Merchant Ambassador Program.
The survey is broken into the following primary categories of concern: 1) Financial, 2) Executive Functions, 3) Legal, 4) Sales & Marketing, and 5) Location/Property/Safety.
There is an additional question at the end focusing on Safety Issues to be presented to Oakland leaders at the Safety Meeting. Please complete the survey whether or not you can attend the February 23 event.
