Use storytelling to develop clear and consistent communications. Create a storytelling communications plan focused on strategy and a tactics-driven editorial calendar focused on execution. Learn how to develop campaigns and calendar to keep your messaging on task, on target, and on time through an interactive 2-hour virtual workshop. Language: English Space is limited! Instructor: Becky Holt, Becky is the executive director of Vermont Story Lab: “For me, story is about relationship — the powerful connection between one human being and another that can spur us to feel, to inspire, and to act.” Becky began her career in journalism, where she was an award-winning newspaper and online editor for 20 years. She then spent a decade in nonprofit development and communications, where she used storytelling to improve understanding, create empathy around complex human services issues, and fundraise to support the social services. Through her work at Vermont Story Lab, she helps nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individuals learn how through interactive workshops, personalized trainings, and one-on-one coaching to identify and share their stories. Becky has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She lives in Burlington, Vermont, with her husband and daughter.
